  • The Magic Portal: Chapter One

The Magic Portal is a short story in four parts written by Trillium Pottery's artist, Heather Green. Illustrated by using her mugs as a canvas, the story is accompanied by a small collection of works.

This story follows a nameless protagonist as she navigates a deep grief for the death of her childhood dreams. Living life while following a path of obligation and default direction, she ventures to the forest and begins to see the magic of the world we live in. Anything is possible, including realizing the visions you have for your life! It may not be an easy path to follow, but forging your own way will always add a richness to living that may even make you believe in magic after all.
