All my wares are handmade by me in my home studio! I use stoneware clay from a local source, commercially made food safe ceramic glazes, and sand the bottoms so it doesn’t scratch the surfaces it sits on. I personally wash my pieces in the dishwasher and they hold up just fine! But handwashing is always gentler if you prefer! And have no fear, my pieces are perfectly fine in the microwave as well!
This piece is considered a “second” or clearance item because of a cosmetic flaw which is pictured in the last photo(s). With this mug there is a small crack on the handle. I have discounted the item, but it is still usable and food safe!
