I use stoneware clay from a local shop, commercially made, food-safe ceramic glazes, and sand the bottoms of each piece so they don’t scratch the surfaces they sit on. This mug is dishwasher- and microwave-safe; however, hand-washing and avoiding sudden temperature changes will help your ceramic ware last for eons.
This mug comfortably holds 24oz (approx. 709ml) of liquid.
